Your participation in this event indicates acceptance of the following:
Retractable leads are not permitted. Organizers reserve the right to ask owners of unruly dogs to leave the event with their pet.
I know that walking or walking with my dog may be a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and walk unless I and my dog are medically able. I also know that there will be traffic on the course and assume the risk for walking in traffic myself and with my dog. I also assume other risks associated with walking or attending the walk including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants and their dogs, the effects of the weather and the condition of the roads, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.
Knowing these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry fee, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release, and discharge Roxy Reading Therapy Dogs, and any subcontractors it utilizes, all municipalities in which the race is held, the race committee, volunteers, and any and all sponsors including their agents, employees, assigns or anyone acting for or on their behalf, or anyone else associated in any way with the race, from any and all claims or liability for death, personal injury or property damage of any kind of nature what so ever arising out of, or in the course of, my participation in this event.
This waiver extends to all claims of every kind or nature what so ever, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown.
I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER: (if under 18, legal guardian must sign or electronically check box).
I grant full permission for the organizers to use my name and/or pictures, or my dog’s name and or pictures in legitimate accounts and promotions of this event.
By signing this waiver, I am confirming that my dog is current on his/hers rabies vaccines. In the event of a dog bite, I understand that I will be asked for proof of vaccination.
Registration and Sponsorship fees are non-refundable.
